Stir Up the World

road trippin’

Day One of my 5-day road trip to the Delta: Done.  I’m sitting in a hotel in Winslow, Arizona, eating Milk Duds and watching Gilmore Girls, just TRYING to relax.

I’m completely exhausted from spending all of last week packing, driving for 10 hours today, and the prospect of TFA!

It’s been very emotionally draining to say goodbye to all of my friends and family, and physically draining packing up all of my stuff.  I’ve never realized just how many books I have. And they’re heavy, of course.

I go back and forth between being excited and being completely terrified — I definitely have moments of “What did I get myself into?!”.  But for the most part, I’m excited, I think.  I had my last In-n-Out and frozen yogurt last night, and I couldn’t even enjoy it because I was so anxious!  What’s heartening to think about, though, is that I’ll be in it with all of the other (amazing) 2011 CMs.  We’ll all be going through the same thing together.

In exactly one week, I’ll be starting Induction.  Eeeep!

Have a safe drive getting down here. While you’re driving, I’ll be studying and reading, but I’m also feeling both excited and terrified! See you in Cleveland next week! :-)
